Omerta's crime rate is through the roof. Every street, every corner a crime happens. You are not safe. The pepper spray in your bag is useless at gunpoint and you know very well loosing your wallet isn’t worth the risk of getting stabbed. There’s so little you can do when someone is stealing a car right in front of you. Perhaps it’s just something you’re so used too, you’ve grown numb. You’d turn to the police, but the mafia’s bought them over. Jail is such a temporary state. Police are pretty scared shitless of gangs, and those brave enough to try and stop a gang war end up sleeping with the fishes. All hope lost, right? It’s a fight between him and a few thugs; the video’s circulating the Internet like a bush fire in a dry forest. Whatever or whomever you are – what you’ve done in the past – it doesn’t matter when people have no fucking clue who you are. It doesn’t matter if you want to do this for shits and giggles, revenge or attention. After all, you just want to help the city out, right? So, you decide to take cape and cowl. Or perhaps you were the one who started the whole thing. All that matters is that you can take a punch or three and are brave enough to fight.
You try it out for a while - either in dark or dancing out of the spandex closet. Go and fight. – It’s highly encouraged. Take the shiny car you modified or the jet pack you bought online. But this real life too, and not everyone’s so glamorous so perhaps you’ll settle for brass knuckles and a stun guns. Life is great – except for the bruises and sleepless nights. Maybe it's the thought that your helping people The only thing you've got to really watch out for is being caught by the cops and getting too involved in anything serious. So play your cards right, get involved with the right people and have a blast.
